The Rotary Clubs of Hillarys and Wanneroo have identified the following as areas where the income from the Rotary Dolphin Wishing Well and it's website can immediately be distributed to great advantage:

In regard to proposed projects and programs that may be eligible for funding, members of the local community, schools as well as local service and care organizations are invited to contact:

Local Community Groups and Projects
The financial proceeds from The Rotary Dolphin Wishing Well will flow to the local community.
It will be distributed to those persons, groups and organisations deemed to be in greatest need as determined by the members of the Rotary Clubs of Hillarys and Wanneroo in conjunction with their respective Foundations.
The first distribution of income was made in May 2010 to The Battens Disease Organisation, a dedicated group of people who live with a rare genetic, incurable disease affecting children.
A further major contribution of almost $5000 has been made to the 2010 Telethon Appeal, when the general public in the immediate vicinity of the wishing well were encouraged to make a donation and make the dolphins turn. This Rotate-A-Thon raised almost $5000 and goes to support the many Telethon beneficiaries.
